About the Author
Melissa Pitts Cutler is a wife, a mother, a stepmother, and a 21-year professional in the
field of criminal justice.  She has been a practicing therapist to families and youth in
urban Los Angeles.  She has reached a level of consciousness in her life rooted in
Christian principles and a relationship with God.  She is a giver, who loves with great
strength and a tongue of real and raw truth.  Finding the "right" man and having children
came later in life for her (after having to learn some tough lessons).  The experience of
pregnancy, childbirth and raising children opened up a new depth in her life, which is
what produced this, her first fiction piece:  "All Men Are...But What About You, My
Sista?!"

Parenting is serious business.  It is the toughest occupation in the world!  There is
unequivocally no greater challenge in life!
 Engulfed in California's criminal justice
system, she sees the results of negligent parenting every day.  While some parents are
doing the best they can, and just cant compete with the lure of the streets,  others  have
literally left their children to be raised by schools, and other systems because of their
"issues".    Parenting was never meant to be done alone!  Hence, hats off to all the
grandmothers stepping in and stepping up.

The rules never changed!  As the world evolves farther and farther away from morality
and Godly principles, we fall deeper into social, spiritual and personal decay.  What will
our children and grandchildren experience?
